- Sadly however, they cannot compete with the floristry roses for 'shelf life'
- We can only expect our roses to last 4-5 days, however in that time they should continue to 'develop', open, shed their petals and fill your home with scent and character not found in conventional bouquets.The roses are grown by our friends at the Real Flower Company in Hampshire and include:5 Candlelight roses: beautiful, large, double dark yellow roses with a glorious scent5 Fazenda roses: pretty mid yellow roses with a wonderful scent5 Margaret Merrill roses: a sweetly scented rose with double, urn-shaped, white flowers that open to reveal maroon stamens5 Rosa viridiflora: A unique green rose that doesn't look like a rose! It is thought to have arrived in Britain on a tea boat as early as 1743Each bouquet is beautifully tied by hand with rosemary, mint and fresh lavender and ready to go straight in the vase.Note The above numbers are quoted for a medium bouquet
- The small bouquet has 15 scented roses and the large bouquet has 30 scented roses.What each of the flowers mean (and do they suit the person they are for?).Although roses are the age-old symbol of love (and there's lots here) the green rose is traditionally given to someone with a 'beauty, forever new'
- Rosemary is for 'happy memories' and the wonderfully aromatic and restorative herb is said to relieve depression, stress and nervous exhaustion too
